Doubtfire Attire

Hi Guys, Been thinking of this for a while now. Being in the profession I am as an air hostess, our corporate attire becomes an ardent discussion issue in many forums. In most of the socio get-togethers I walk into, the topic does surface and with enough gusto to raise a debate. Story from my side of the river is that glaring, no so kind, slimy, appreciative, looks of any kind always accost you when in uniform. I have met travelers who compare airlines based on the length of skirts sported by the hostesses!

Hey guys give us a break. Whether its a red or a blue dress as long as it is not an eye sore or distraction - why would it bother you? I hate to see some of my colleagues from conventional backgrounds squirm within as clients have the leer in their eyes. Agree, low cost airlines have brought flying within closer reach of a major strata in India and thus exposure to westernized attire has also started touching lives closely, but didnt satellite TV bring the culture to their drawing rooms much earlier?

Glam factor definitely nudges the TRP, but the key is the airline performance. End of the day what matters to the clients is the service on board and ground. This is a serious business, guys, wherein the airlines is taking responsibility of you, your family, time and security and the attire is a miniscule part of the bigger picture.  so dont hound the girls.

Chill on the clouds and pamper yourselves.
